Pops of orange and pink decorated the OC Polo Club for Joanna’s Sunday morning bridal shower brunch. Arrangements of fresh, summer florals sprouted up as centerpieces at each table and a live band ushered friends and family into the celebration where a mimosa bar and Charcuterie Tray with salami, prosciutto, mortadella, European and domestic cheeses, olives, mixed nuts and dried apricots with fig jam, crackers, and sliced baguettes awaited them. Once everyone had arrived, the bride-to-be, Joanna, made her entrance. Dressed in a white jumpsuit and pearl veil, she made her rounds greeting everyone, then invited her guests to take a seat for brunch.
A delicious spread of Cashew Chicken Salad Tea Puffs, Tomato, Mozzarella and Pesto on Focaccia Sandwiches, Mini Blueberry Scones with Lemon Curd, Mini Spinach and Cheddar Quiche, Seasonal Fresh Fruit, Mini Strawberry Short Cakes, French Apple Tarts, and Assorted French Macarons filled the buffet. The Tea Menu was suggested by our Event Specialist, Casey, to suit the occasion. Guests grabbed their plates, filled them, then sat back down for a few games. The competition was fierce, and winners left with prized goodie bags as awards, then dessert was unveiled. Our French Dessert Collection concluded brunch with an assortment of Lavender Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Lemon Curd Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs and French Apple Tarts. To top off dessert, Joanna’s fiancé showed up and passed out flowers to each guest along with a beautiful bouquet for his bride. The celebration ended inside the clubhouse where guests danced to a few songs before saying their goodbyes to Joanna.
